•    The Word= Jesus Christ

•    The word= words Christ spoke

•    The word= the written word

•    It’s not how much you go through in the word but how much the word goes through you.

•    Christ was in the Old Testament (Example: word came to Samuel, etc.)

•    Not Bible-centered but Christ-centered.

•    Living word and written word.  Tennis player and racket—racket is an extension of arm, Bible is an extension of us.  The written word is finite.

•    Bible-centered conferences should instead be Christ-centered.

•    Verse for every situation

•    Written word gives confirmation to living word
