•    Unity is the ultimate result of a person whose life is well centered in Christ.

•    There is a spiritual principle of unity.

•    World’s unity expresses itself in terms of divorce, sports teams,  partnerships, broken friendships, very little success.

•    The Lord’s unity is based on Jesus Christ, being with Him.  Not the things of Christ like denominations, theology, etc. but Jesus Christ himself.

•    It must be based on Jesus Christ.

•    Jesus is love.  Unity is an aspect of love.

•    God loves it when the brothers operate in unity, He commands His power and blessing.

•    When brothers are in unity, the world will know God sent Jesus.

•    Reconciliation is very much on God’s heart, reconciling: man to man, man to himself, man to God.

•    Why does God want us to be in unity with brothers: so we will know Him better, and world will know and see Christ through our unity.

•    Strife, bitterness, jealousy and envy, destroy unity.

•    We must protect unity by being truthful, not letting these things build up.  Being truthful can hurt.

•    Jesus Christ picked 12 people to teach and then 3 intensively.  He taught them unity for 3 years, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  It was on His heart.

•    Unity on essentials, liberty on unessentials, love over all!

•    Independently dependent on one another; totally depending on Jesus Christ.

•    Sweeping things under the rug equates with additional straw upon the camel’s back…eventually it will break.

•    What do you think of when you say, Gideons, Catholics, etc.  Things of Jesus Christ and not Him.
